How to Set Up Your tapAton

One Tap. Endless Possibilities.

Your tapAton is designed to make sharing and accessing information effortless. With the free NFC Tools app, you can easily customize what happens when someone taps your tapAton with their phone.

Step 1: Download NFC Tools

Download the free NFC Tools app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Step 2: Open the App

Open NFC Tools and select the Write tab.

Step 3: Choose Your Action

1. Tap Add a Record.

2. Select URL / URI.

3. Enter the link you'd like your tapAton to open.

4. Tap OK or Validate to confirm.

You can link to your Instagram, TikTok, website, digital business card, or other favorite online destinations.

Step 4: Program Your tapAton

1. Tap Write.

2. Hold your tapAton against the NFC reader on your phone.

   • iPhone: Near the top of the phone.

   • Android: Usually near the center or upper back.

3. Keep it in place until the app confirms the write was successful.

Step 5: Test It Out!

Your tapAton is ready!

Hold your phone near your tapAton to test your new action. On compatible devices, your programmed link will appear or open.

Want to Change Your Link?

No problem! You can update your tapAton whenever you'd like.

1. Open NFC Tools.

2. Select Other → Erase Tag to clear the existing information.

3. Return to the Write tab.

4. Follow the setup steps again with your new link.

Note: Your tapAton must be writable and unlocked to make changes. Avoid using the "Lock Tag" feature if you plan to update it later.

Having Trouble?

Make sure NFC is enabled on your Android device, reposition your tapAton near your phone's NFC reader.
